This week we are going to focus on what you see (that's pretty easy to figure out) AND what you are "seeing" but not recognizing. If you had to consciously recognize every input your brain receives you would go mad. Literally. Every heartbeat. Every blink. Every sound from outside. Every little motion made by another person in the room. It's too much. So your brain prioritizes and filters all of the information around you. It lets the information in that is helpful and that we are used to. It keeps other information out - based on our experience and training. Every now and then we need to test our awareness to make sure that we aren't missing things that could help us. Some of the things we are missing are profound!
